町内各地に光害対策型の照明を導入－アメリカ

アメリカ・スクイムの町で、「ダークスカイ決議案」に従い、新たに３ヶ所に光害対策型の照明が導入される。この決議案は、提唱者らによって３年以上にわたって町議会で議論され（そこでは光害の健康上の影響などが取り上げられた）、ついに2008年に採択された。町は、近々オープンするレストランと診療所にフルカットオフ型照明の使用を命じ、また町内の公園にも同様の照明を導入することを決めた。
